First Aid Services Team (F.A.S.T.)
Serving the University of Notre Dame, the First Aid Services Team (F.A.S.T.) is a volunteer, student-run organization working under the supervision of University Health Services. Through cooperation with the Notre Dame Police/Security and the Notre Dame and South Bend Fire Departments as well as the Emergency Medical Services system of the local area, F.A.S.T. provides a viable and necessary link in the provision of immediate care to students, faculty, and visitors.

- Preventing Disease Transmission - Bloodborne Pathogen Training
- CPR, First Aid, AED (use of an Automated External Defibrillator), Emergency Oxygen Administration
- Red Cross courses for the Lay Responder will be taught utilzing the Blended Learning program. That is the text material and test is done online, Skills practiced and checked in a classroon setting. Information about this Blended Learning program is at
