First Aid Services Team (F.A.S.T.)

Serving the University of Notre Dame, the First Aid Services Team (F.A.S.T.) is a volunteer, student-run organization working under the supervision of University Health Services. Through cooperation with the Notre Dame Police/Security and the Notre Dame and South Bend Fire Departments as well as the Emergency Medical Services system of the local area, F.A.S.T. provides a viable and necessary link in the provision of immediate care to students, faculty, and visitors.

Preventing Disease Transmission - Bloodborne Pathogen Training
CPR, First Aid, AED (use of an Automated External Defibrillator), Emergency Oxygen Administration
Red Cross courses for the Lay Responder will be taught utilzing the Blended Learning program. That is the text material and test is done online, Skills practiced and checked in a classroon setting. Information about this Blended Learning program is at
