The Notre Dame school sponsored Student Insurance Plan is an excellent and affordable plan available to both undergraduate and graduate students. Health insurance for undergraduates is encouraged but not mandated. Undergraduates are not required to provide proof of insurance to the University. However, all degree seeking graduate and international students must be covered by a health insurance plan.
All registered degree seeking graduate and internationalstudents are automatically enrolled in the school sponsored health insurance plan unless proof of comparable insurance is provided. The premium is assigned to your student account. Proof of alternate coverage is furnished by filling out a waiver card and returning it with a copy of your active insurance card to the Insurance Office located in the University Health Center. This information must be received no later than September 15, 2007. Student dependents may enroll on the plan on a voluntary basis.
