Inpatient/Observation Unit
Located on the second floor of Health Services, an 8-bed inpatient unit is available for students upon orders of a University physician. Care is provided for students who are recovering from a surgical procedure, or who need intravenous fluids or medications, or who require nursing expertise and care.
Supplies, special procedures, and medications will be charged to the student’s account. If you live on campus, there is no charge for physician and nursing care or for room and meals, as this is covered in your fee for room and board. If you live off-campus, there is a modest daily charge for room and board.

Visiting hours are until 9:00 p.m. or at the discretion of the nursing staff.
