Summer Medical Care
We don’t take summers off.
University Health Services is open Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., during the summer to all active Notre Dame students.
If you develop an illness or have an accident outside of the summer clinic hours and need medical care, you can visit any of the following local health care providers:
- Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center
- Memorial Hospital
- Doctors Express
- Physicians Urgent Care
- South Bend Clinic Immediate Care Center
Insurance and off-campus providers
If you have the school-sponsored insurance plan, you have a $500 deductible, which means you’re responsible for that amount of money before the insurance company will reimburse the provider. If you have a private plan, you will need to contact your insurance company to see what area providers and facilities are covered.
If UHS is closed, you can take your prescription to any off-campus pharmacy. You will pay your co-pay off campus according to your benefits.
If you have an emergency or need medical assistance, please call 1-5555 from a campus phone or 574-631-5555 from your cell phone.
If you have any questions, please contact UHS at 574-631-7497.
